Sourdough Bruschetta with Mediterranean Tapenade

A loaf of sourdough with a jar of tapenade and a bottle of wine is nirvana. Other breads are equally delicious—try crusty loaves of whole grain breads for a healthy choice. Bring your party around the grill and as the grilled bread is ready let your guests serve themselves and as the grill master you can be part of the party as well.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small loaf of sourdough bread, cut in 1/2" slices on a diagonal
  • Olive oil for grilling
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 jar Tulocay's Made In Napa Valley Mediterranean Tapenade

Preheat a grill, grill pan or broiler.

Brush bread slices with olive oil and arrange on grill.

Toast until golden or grill marks appear on bread, flip and grill other side.

Transfer grilled bread to a serving platter.

Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of tapenade on each slice of bread and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
